I believe he did. And his dad was supposedly very involved in his football career too. That's why I won't be hard on the kid. Losing a parent at that age is tough and punting/ kicking is hugely mental. He could've been in a mental funk this time last year when he had a bad A-Day, then everybody starts talking about what a busy he is and that's all it takes to lose his confidence forever.
