Also, the IM thread was fantastic last night. It got a bunch of the regular old timers back together and not trolling. I understand we have an OT board with a IM thread every now and them but it wasn't anywhere near what it got to last night alone

I would like an option for posters to have their thread starting privileges taken away.
Not bad enough to drive people to make endless alters but handcuffs their trolling ability

I think visible admins would work wonders. It would show a lot if an admin commented on a shitty troll/alter/poster/thread and gave a public warning and then banned and explained why would help.

To the person who said reasonable threads aren't down voted. 
At one time, I loved posting on the rant because I actually enjoy good conversation. Now, that is useless. IF you start any kind of "good" discussion, it will be dead in the first 10 answers.
The MSB is still a pretty good place to talk shop but it is also going down hill
I feel that I have become a much more shitty poster because of it.

This is one of the only complaints I have ever had on this site. You have no idea if you are getting through to admins or not. There is a help board, and I have not idea if I am talking to anyone or not
