I'm not sure if this is the proper place for this or not.

AUBURN, Ala — Two men who worked for a company that runs the Auburn University transit system are charged in the alleged rape of a student on one of the buses.

The Auburn city police department says Monday that 32-year-old James Don Johnson Jr. of Auburn, Alabama, and 51-year-old Tony Martin Patillo of Columbus, Georgia, were arrested Saturday. Each is charged with first-degree rape and first-degree sodomy in the Friday night attack.

It is a sad situation. These guys should spend a lot of time in prison.

Sounds like there university is about to write a giant check too

Feel terribble for the girl. Transit is supposed to be the safe way to get home and advertised that way.

I heard she was really drunk and got on the bus at about midnight. I did not know the bus ran that late.

It is awful and the company and the university will pay $$$$$$$$$ dearly.

Hope the poor girl gets the help she needs right now.

Tony Patillo was a regular driver on a route I took while I was at Auburn and seemed to be a nice guy. That's a horrific story though. If convicted I hope they are punished to the fullest extent

I'm guessing it would be a late night transit and a drunk girl got on without a group with her.

That's the only scenario I could see where this could happen.

absolutely terrible. I hope those sobs rot in jail. Auburn needs to do whatever is necessary to ensure the safety of our female students. Between the softball program, the rumors regarding another female sport and now this.

Was Tony the black guy that ran the Webster road route that was super friendly?

If so I am floored. I thought that guy was awesome. I've given that son of a bitch a high five before. frick this world.

Found his mugshot online. Good Lord that dude spent every bus drive being flirty with every girl that would come on and you couldn't get him to shut up. Unreal.

I have some questions.

Were they both drivers? If yes why were they on the same bus?

Idk about the guy on the left, but the guy on the right was the driver of the bus my wife took when she went to Auburn. She was pretty sickened when she saw this. Said he was always nice....

I'm in NO WAY defending the action if true, but I am defending the laws of this country.

Let's remember people are innocent until proven guilty. Thats all i have to say about this.
