Personally, i think that Roc will be our starter with Barber backing him up and JR third in the rotation. Roc has the it factor. Quick, elusive and just strong enough to run bt the tackles and is the only back with homerun speed.

Barber is a freaking old school Auburn running back that hits the hole hard and runs you flat the fk over Ronnie Brown style and it would not surprise me if he split carries with Roc this year.

JR is a bruiser who doesnt have break away speed, but can push the pile for short yardage. Cant say he is very elusive either due to the extra weight he is carrying around. If we had him for four years he would be a nightmare for opposing defenses. As it is, he will be a role player imo...Thoughts?

All three. Jovon getting bulk.

Roc for change of pace. Our coaches got a tough one to figure out how to get all on the field

Roc might end up playing the McCaleb/Grant role in the offense this year while Jovon plays more of the conventional role in the backfield. Roc will make some big plays and make some guys miss, but I don't think his instinct is to lower his shoulder and pick up a few yards to keep the offense on schedule for down and distance, which is key to Gus' offense.

3 RB's getting a lot of touches just won't happen I don't think. I think it will be mostly Jovon and Roc at first, with one of them separating themselves mid season.

Roc and Jovon will get majority in early parts of the season. One will emerge and get a bulk of the carries

If Roc continues to be the 1 cut runner he was Saturday & how the staff wants him he will be tough to beat. Rhett said today who pass blocks the best will play. Barber is still struggling w/ Pass Pro.

I'm leaning to Roc gets more of the carries. Jovon in short yardage & spell Roc. Peyton getting what's left.

Jovon and Roc will split most of the time. Jovon will get majority of the carries, while Barber will once again be rarely used.

I believe Kerryon will be our Ontario guy, as we can also use him in the passing game. He will be brought in the offense slowly.

It'll play out in a way that makes other teams envious.

I thought they said Jason Smith would be getting a lot of those types of carries since he's versatile. I know Gus has changed his opinion of redshirting kids but I wish we could just redshirt Kerryon.

Lets see how fall camp works out. Could be best decision for him. if he is 4th on the list, he aint playing unless its on K/O returns etc. Would be a waste of a year. A lot also depends on recruiting and who Gus thinks he may have coming in in 2016.

IDK if I RS a kid like Kerryon. It depends on the kid really IMO, and what their goals are. Injuries can figure in as well I suppose.

I really think when Fall rolls around that Jovon steps it up a notch. I watched closely, and all three were moving the pile. Barber straight bulldozed Cass on one run. I was more impressed w/ Roc's 2nd TD run, than the 1st. He got narrow, and low, and was almost untouched up the gut.

Gus loves a strong guy thats dependable and consistent. Based on that I would lean JR getting the nod with ROC spelling him just like the Aday game.

I like that because RoC will be coming in fresh after Jovon has grinded down the defense

I don't think Roc needs more than 15 carries a game avg. What Reggie Bush averaged

Im honestly surprised no one sees Barber as a contender to start. JR didnt impress me at all during the Aday game.

I totally agree... thomas should never have more than 15-20 carries in any game (provided the other guys are healthy)... I would limit rocs touches throughout the year to keep him healthy.

In the 2010 Aday game, Cam wasn't impressive....
