quote:

-- "Got the victory today. Obviously it was a little sloppy. What stands out to me is the five turnovers."

-- "If you take the turnovers away, I think we could've played really good and put the game away early."

-- "Good report" on Darius James, who is back with the team. Malzahn said it was a neck injury, which was "really scary."

-- On fumble: "That was an issue. That's uncharacteristic. It kind of snowballed on us."

-- "We got to run the football better."

-- Said Stidham "was about as efficient as it gets."

-- Malzahn defends using only Kamryn Pettway out of the backfield in the rushing game. Said game dictated it.

-- Mentions Auburn's depth on the offensive line when moving Austin Golson to right tackle after Darius James' injury.

-- On making a change on OL this week: "We let it play out in practice, and that was the lineup the coaches felt would give us the best chance to be successful."

-- "I feel like we moved the football and did some good things.... The underlying thing that's really carrying with me is the five turnovers." Said it's on him to solve that.

-- On Pettway in the Wildcat: "Just a new little wrinkle that Chip's done in the past."

-- Kicking game was good. Said Carlson's miss was uncharacteristic. Needs better production from Ian Shannon at punter.

Who makes the decisions on RB sub patterns? Today for example. Is horton just sending KP out there every drive or does Gus tell him before the game to run him until he can't walk?

He's a goddamn clown that says nothing. We will NOT be an elite football team with him at the helm. Period.

I would think that they wanted to play more RB's today, but we never had a big enough lead. I think that probably goes for the entire O. We had to play our starters to fend off Mercer. and all at the same time.

I don't see where he offered his resignation. Did you leave that off your quotes?

Just enjoy him for a few more months. We won't get rid of him during the season. Other firings need to take place first.
