Here's the thing. Even if our route trees remain the same, Stidham brings better downfield accuracy than we had from White. Enough where defenses can't load the box which will open running lanes for one of the best backfields in the country.

How many wide open deep ball TDs have been missed with bad or over throws going back to 2013? Hell, look at the 3rd offensive plays of the Iron Bowl and NC game against FSU. We connect on half of those, defenses have to unload the box.

By most player accounts the offense hasn't changed much at all. We'll see soon enough who's running the ship

The offense didn't need to change much. It just needed to be called better in-game.

Exactly. I think the playbook stays the same, but the situational play-calling will be much different.

Yea, the only thing that really changed is some passing routes got integrated into our offense. There was an article a while back where LIndsey said that White was a big help in integrating his passing philosophies into our run game/offense. For the majority of the players, the offense would not be changing that much then.

If we 'hurry up' to the line after every single first down and run off tackle....I just don't know what i might do.

This is why we are the way we are. Meddling. Our roller coaster will never stop until they stop the meddling.

I HOPE another change to be seen is actually using the TE. You know, the guy on the end of the line that runs a drag route, inside shovel pass, or split the seam every now and again. The guy that has not been on AU's team since Cooper Wallace. Remember him? Remember?
