He should go kill it at some FCS school but he'll never get it done here. One hit wonder.

Malzahn and his butt boy, Lashlee should step back to high school football.

I'd accept a 1 win season for 2017 if someone told me i could be rid of JJ, Gus, Lash, and everyone in the Auburn good ol boy network

We know, but our AD does not. I expect another extension this off-season.

I think he'd be a great coach at MTSU, or Southern Miss, or Memphis, but I agree he's not a P5 coach.

I can take losing some games, but we look totally incompetent.

Will never EVER be successful at this level for any extended time.
Unfortunately we are stuck with him next year with another mediocre year and and a pre playoff bowl loss or ....win (lololol)
We are auburn. Wake up.

Gus sucks. That's for sure. Thought that the night of the uga game but got blasted by a few people for saying it.

But for a moment when JF3 had that forest drive you saw some of the old 13 magic. Don't know if that can be rekindled next year but with this defense, this rb, this new qb, I'd he can't win, fire everyone on the offense and Jacobs.

Gus should be fired on how he's handled our quarterback roster alone.

I've been a Gus fan since he got here. However, Im over it now.

Last night was a shite show. Zero creativity. Zero game plan.

Im pissed at Steele as well. Oklahoma had that pass into the flat to Mixon open ALL frickING NIGHT. Thats been the case a lot of the year as well.

Ive been wanting Lashlee gone all year. Am now ready for Gustav to get on his bus and GTFO now. frick that. At least we need to represent. I thought all along we'd probably lose as Mayfield and Westbrook are rediculous. but we looked bad. I cant handle that.

We have to be beyond hope for me to turn off the tube. Ive only done that a few times in my life. Last night was one middle of the 3rd quarter.

Pretty much where I am at this point as well.

But the fact is, Gustav isn't the real problem. It's the people who sign his paycheck.

Let's face it, so long as the same cast of characters keep piling out of the clown car, we will never be consistently amongst the SEC's elite, academically or athletically.

Our power structure is simply not going to hire Chip Kelly or anyone remotely like him. And there's zero chance we'd hire someone like Saban (if there was someone like that out there), hand him the keys, and tell him "run the program exactly how you want it run, and we'll stay the hell out of your way". It's the polar opposite of how Auburn Universty has operated since before I graduated almost 35 years ago.

Thanks to the (probably temporary) largess of ESPN and CBS, AU athletics will continue to rake in tens of millions every year, regardless of the hopeless mediocrity of the product. Get used to it guys.

Didn't Steele mastermind the LSU defenses against Manziel? What's the difference between the two that Steele couldn't handle Mayfield but could handle Manziel?

I'd be fine and excited about Gus if he accepted that he needs a breath of fresh air for his offense

He has shown time and time again that he refuses to allow new ideas be infused unless it came from his bubble

Completely this....1000% my feel on him.

He has to step back and realize that he isn't ahead of the curve anymore. He's fallen behind, offensively and needs to bring in outside help and just be a Head Coach. That's it. He's actually a good motivator, good recruiter, and his players ALWAYS play hard for him. So he has some chops as a HC, he just needs to start delegating the offense to someone new and take his hands off of that wheel.

Gus as a head coach is so confusing for me. How does a coach come into his first big job after 1 year's experience at Arkansas State to take a 3-9 team to the national championship then turn things into a total clown show? Maybe there are some Auburn-tinted glasses about 2013, but I don't remember ever wanting to pull my hair out over atrocious game management. Since then, Gus has found new and increasingly depressing techniques to ruin Auburn football games. We went from the inability to finish games in 2014 to the QB carousel of 2015 plus Clemson 2016 then on to the Whirlybird (TM) of 2016. If you add in all of the other insanity that seems to be compounding on itself, Gus Malzahn as a head coach is basically like the scientist who has a mental break and his "science" slowly devolves into more and more insane ideas. Unfortunately for all of us, our love of Auburn keeps us paying for and watching these experiments that keep taking great ingredients and producing steaming piles of shite.

The Tee Martin hype-train is starting to grow: elite recruiter, good coach, now excelling as a playcaller at USC. Plus he's from Mobile.
