i thought we didn't want to make a hire that woudl divide the fanbase?

I'll support him if he is, in fact, the hire. He was about #5 on my list. I think we should have gotten someone a little better, but I think we will be fun to watch. We just need to hit a home run on the DC.

Maybe we can get a list of who's for Gus, who's against, and who's stuck in the middle. That way in a few years, we know who to kick out and who to keep.

I think he is an upgrade compared to what we had. Yes I think we could have done better but I know we could have done much worse. Hope he is able to get a staff in place and can develop the talent. We will still recruit well, we just need to turn these talented kids into talented men.

I'm OK with Gus, not going to freak out over it. I want to see what he can do without limitations on his offense. I would have preferred Patterson, but mostly I am glad the search is done.
Hope he keeps BVG, Boulware, and Grimes. I hope he let's BVG have full control over who he brings in.

I hope he lets whoever have full control of the D. I am sure he understands this as he didn't like the head guy meddling when he was O coordinator.

Agreed. Maybe in the long run this will work out b/c he will remember what it was like.
There seem to be a lot of upset Auburn fans, but I'm cautiously optimistic.

Ok fine. Ill frickin jump on the Gus Bus. I really think the players will want to play for Gus. Hes a great guy. But so was Chiz. I hope he can instill great discpline. I really wonder who he will hire as defensive coordiator. You see how ATM runs the spread and have pretty good D. I hope Gus can do this.
