Going on the record to say I'm still nervous about this one, but I admire everyone who has gone full blown posi-barner. If the team comes out like they did last week, I'll start to get excited about what can happen.

Same here. I hope we execute well on both sides of the ball, like last week.

We do that and the game will take care of itself.

That's me today. There's no reason we shouldn't win by a couple scores, and that is what scares me.

For what it's worth, a few numbers/facts that I want to mention just in case it hasn't already. Listening to all the pregame nonsense it seems to be an echo chamber of how awesome Mississippi is. What? When we played Arkansas they were leading the SEC in total yards passing and rushing. They put up 400 yards on the gumps.

Let me mention a few things that may be relevant. Our starting front four Davidson, Adams, Lawson and Russell have combined for 71 total tackles, 12 sacks, 20 tackles for losses and 35 QB hurries. Just these four guys. Lawson by himself, with people grabbing him all over accounted for 7 QB hurries. Tre' Williams is the leading tackler on defense with 43. DeShawn Davis is third leading tackler. Considering the opponents, these guys are getting it done big-time.

Keep in mind Mississippi must replace two O lineman, a true freshman at left tackle, the other position is a guard. How do you think our D line will do? We're moving people all over the place up front. What if we put Adams, Davison and Lawson on one side, which one do you double-team?

Our defense on third down and 1 – 3 yards we are 46%. On third and 7 – 9 yards, 14%. On third and 10 yards, 19%.

Offense, ......... Hells Bells!

We may lose but I don't think so.

Thanks for letting me get that off my chest.

I think we'll play good. I just think Ole Miss is more dangerous than they've shown. It's still the same team that went wire to wire with Bama

Just feeling positive today.

Doesn't always happen and I watched 1st half of their bama game, where they practically had'em their way most of that half. They're certainly thinking come out strong, it's what they do, but we know more about them than they know about us... at least that's what I'm going with.

And yes the injury bug could undercover a better bunch than they have been starting; however this would have to be a double lighting strike.

I haven't seen any other than it sounded like they may play, but their effectiveness will definitely be diminished with ankle problems.

If they do not play or come out then you have very inexperienced replacements.

As of Thursday, yes. That's the last I've heard. My guess is that they're going to keep those cards close to the vest.

Either way they will be playing backups that are not ready or they will be playing starters at way less than 100 percent.
