So that gets us to 9-3 expected by FPI? I'd be okay with that

it had us beating UGA last year too. We have a head coach that doesn't learn from mistakes. We will lose more than 2.

Normally I'd agree with you, but the competition is weak. They are all suspect. Our defense is the best one on our schedule and our offense is going to get better.

I still think we are 10-1 heading into Bama

I also thought we win 10+ games in 2014 & 2015

If the offense gets it together than we may not lose another game. If the same ol crap sticks around then 4-5 losses are more than likely.

The SEC is weak

We are part of the weakness

It does present opportunity, but I have no reason to believe we'll seize it

Preseason, I had us 10-2 and losing only to Clemson and Bama.

That was based on my speculation that our defense would take a small step back from last year, but our offense would be a rolling ball of butcher knives.

Instead, thus far our defense has taken a great leap forward, and our offense more resembles a motionless lump of rusty thumbtacks.

I would be tremendously encouraged if our performance against Mizzou looked like a combination of Purdue's defense and SWMO State's offense.

Fun opinions by Jay Tate:

Gus Malzahn's attempt to go pocket passing/away from dual threat QBs was to make his offense look appealing to the NFL.

I don't see any reason why you can't run the dual threat QB Read Option offense with a passing attack incorporated into it. Who gives a frick about the NFL anyway. WIN MOTHERfrickER THAT'S YOUR JOB FOR $5 million

Is the FPI run by the same people that thought SportCenter @ 6 was a good idea?
