Les Snead name has come up frequently but I don't know that he has the experience to manage an entire AD?

Jacobs can't hire the next HC. He just can't. Don't need any input from Pat Dye & Co either

Also, who are the big money boosters running things at Auburn? Seems like there was a hole left after Lowder's fall? Based on the last coaching search & the faction supporting Petrino there's also some division in the ranks

Basically, who's gonna make the call to axe Jacobs and who will take his place

Do you even huge video board bro?

I have read that Gouge is happy with how the athletic department is running. So there's that.

As much as I would love to see Jacobs fired, it won't happen. He's making the athletic dept. money and that is what will keep him employed. Until 87,000+ start making their opinions felt by their absence in that stadium nothing with get done about it.

If you have had enough, just quit attending the games.

Would Snead take a demotion from NFL GM of the LA Rams to Auburn AD? Seems pretty unlikely.

Is it really a demotion when you consider how much power top-tier AD's hold

Snead won't leave LA...not with the projection that franchise has after moving to LA and building a new stadium.

I've said all along that we need to assemble a search committee that consists of smart, successful Auburn people, who aren't just successful football players.

Have a three person committee of Bruce Pearl, David Marsh, and Tim Cook interview potential candidates and select the most promising one. Those are three highly intelligent Auburn guys that each have business acumen.

I'm sure Marsh would be happy to help find Jacobs replacement

When he and Fisher get canned for the Jared Goff pick, then he would take the Auburn AD job,

This. Tubs always made good hires as a HC when picking assistants, and always promptly fired the ones that didn't work out.

As opposed to your dedication in defending Jay Jacobs despite all evidence to the contrary

I often wonder if this isnt the majority of our problem. I have nothing to go on but the evolution of Malzahn's play calling. the last 16 games or so have completely deviated from his normal mode of operation.
