The #Auburn defense allowed 24 touchdowns this season during 8 conference games. This was the fewest TD's surrendered since 2008.

I'm not anointing Will as defensive savior yet, but anyone who knows anything about football and has watched AU's defense in recent years knows this year's defense made huge strides.

Secondary made huge progress. Prior to this year, if we happened to break up a pass I was immediately looking for the flag.

Who in their right mind can complain about Muschamp or the D? There has been huge improvement this year.

If his arse leaves after this year the complainers will be wanting him back next year in a bad way.

Iv'e taken such joy in watching their offense turn to complete crap forcing them to rely on the defense Muschamp left behind.

Offense is easily what cost us this year. If we had the same offense as last year, we are sitting at 11-1 or 10-2 right now easily. And without Muschamp we are 5-7 or 4-8 as well, with blowout losses. Champ saved our season, so yes, he is the savior.

No question the defense improved over last year. I'm still waiting for the shut down defenses of old. Maybe we will get that again......

Across the league all the O's are bad this season. However, you could see a fight in the D we haven't seen in a while. I also appreciated how CWM kept trying different things when it wasn't working.
