We haven't allowed anyone more than one touchdown in the first half all year, and ULM was the last team to score a 1H TD on us at all

Ole Miss
Vanderbilt
Georgia
Alabama A&M

Do we let another one in before Tuscaloosa?

If it's anyone, it's Ole Miss.

I think Ole Miss gets 2 or 1 plus a FG in the first half. It will take at least one series to get past the hype at home, wear down their OL, and to adapt to whatever they are running to beat our D. The second series will likely be cut short unless we give up a big play on Kelly to a big WR. We will give up another score opening the second half and then take over again. I expect to get beat on the same thing Clemson burned us on, just hoping we will be able to stop that some with pressure on Kelly.

The good side to this is I expect our offense to run the ball well and execute in the short passes again. While we eat up clock and score it will keep their offense off the field.

Actually, it was with 0 seconds left in the half.

That drive was pretty frustrating to watch. They had the ball at our 25 with under a minute left and somehow managed to run 9 more plays (actually 10, if you count the PI in the endzone the play before they scored).

To answer the OP: I think both Ole Freeze and UGa score on us in the first half.

We have a shot at our first SEC shutout since 2006 (and of any kind since 2008) against Vandy. Unless our walkons give up a late score to AAMU, I think we will shut them out.

AU's D is currently #5 in the nation in TD ratio, allowing a TD every 47.6 snaps. The last time AU had a better TD ratio on def was 1989.

Going into the Ole Miss game, AU has held their last 3 conference opponents to 14 points or less. The last time Auburn did this was in 2004.

I feel like the Ole Miss game will be reverse of Miss State game in that we give up some scores early then shut em down the whole 2nd half. Not sure if there has been a better first half team this season than Ole Miss

I would not be surprised if Ole Miss scores first.
