And then loses Miami (Ohio) next week. It's the Tuberville way.

I don't think so Miami (Ohio) is one of the worst teams in CFB this year. They lost to Eastern Illionis last week.

2nd half of 2003, 2004, and 2005 were really fun.

1999-2003 (1st half), 2006-2008? Fun *moments* but, overall, meh.

The Riverboat Choker is more fitting. I think he had lay down on 7 tattooed in his hand.

I really don't understand the Tubs obsession with some Auburn fans.

All of 2003, save maybe the UT game, was a disaster. That was a phenomenally talented team that was coached to below mediocrity. He justly deserved to be fired for that debacle of a season.

2004 was his 'vindication', but in all honesty I think the team won in spite of him, rather than because of him.

Don't get me started on 2006

But the reason Tubs has any fame and is thought of as successful is because of Auburn, not vice versa.
Spot on.

Pretty hard to dominate Alabama in the early 2000s with hard sanctions and Mike Shula coaching them

Consistency. We knew what we were going to get every year. We were going to get blown out by a bad Arkansas team and then beat #1 Florida. Oh and we were going to beat bammer every year.

We could expect 9-3ish most every year and it was nice not being on a rollercoaster.

Would rather win championships ever 6 years on the rollercoaster than to be on "Its A Small World After All" on continuous loop.
