i just asked my Groupme chat the same thing. Can someone explain why they kept insisting it was a fumble? I understand not overturning the field call but what made the announcers insist it was a fumble without a doubt?

Looked like ball started to twist. I think it was too close to overturn any call on the field

i agree with this. tough to overturn but the announcers were adamant that it was a fumble.

He has always rooted for our opposition. What got me was when the targeting penalty wasnt called on the hit on Tre Williams on the review. YOu can bet your arse if it were an Auburn player that hit the defender, he would be screaming about it

Yes. I cringe every time I know he is calling one of our games. Stinchcomb is the same way.

I do agree that that wasn't a fumble though. I don't think we have had 3 instant replays go our way this year.
What really pissed me of.....When our guy was hit two yards out of bounds, after watching the replay, Ware says "eeeeehhhhhh, I don't know if I would have called that". I wanted Jeremy Foley to slap him across the face with his dick.

He was doing everything he could to make the game seem interesting. Unfortunately, we gave him some ammunition by not cutting their heads off when we had the chance
