kick-six

Greatest single play in Auburn history. Can never be seen too many times.

Yes.

I really hate it when we live on stuff like that forever.

Also, I really hated how Chiz and his staff wore 2010 championship stuff into 2011/2012 during practice, and also put it all over the indoor practice field.

Put it all over the stadium. Put stuff in the athletic complex. Don't wear the gear to practice with players.

I understand I might receive a ton of flack for posting this question. I just wanted to see if there were any of you who have begun to feel similarly about our 2013 IB win.

Sure the kick-six and subsequent win will always be remembered...just like Punt Bama Punt, Cadillac's 2003 IB run, the Immaculate Deflection, etc., but do you think it's time to move on? I really hope we don't see it again in Auburn's school commercial or just wear it out in our pregame videos.

Walking back to the car after the 2013 DSOR, I told my wife, "I don't care how long I live, I ain't never goona see no !@#$ like that again." Two weeks later...

That said, I agree with you. Actually, I thought it was time to move on last year. I wonder how much that kind of thing gets in the kids' heads...if they're thinking about how they won last year, are they hungry enough to win this year, etc..

All I'm saying is that while we're celebrating, others are training hard and lining up to kick our asses. Great seasons happen because the kids are hungry; I'm not sure they were hungry enough last year.

I rarely bring it up. I personally enjoy letting an unbiased source bring it up as it is more painful that way as it is not coming from an "aubie living in the past".

I do reserve the right to bring it up whenever I want though.

You really believe our coaches and players aren't doing all they can to prepare for this upcoming season because we celebrate and troll other fan bases with Kick 6?

I was kidding around before but that right there is bat shite crazy.

Got it on my license plate.

And I think we need a full field, life size kick six "statue" outside the stadium that everyone can walk on and through - like the Korean War memorial.

And other shite like that.....
