Do we cheer for a shot at a NY6 bowl or for LSU to keep O?

I want LSU to win but only because Florida acted like a bitch during this whole hurricane fiasco.

NY6 BOWL.

Question though... Why would LSU consider keeping Coach O after already seeing him fail in the SEC West at Ole Miss?

Because he is a coach that the players like and because he hasn't fricked up yet. I'm hopeful those are the reasons why he is retained.

So if the Tuscaloosa tornado a few years was Iron Bowl weekend, you'd be more focused on playing the game than letting the teams fans/players/admins deal with the damage?

LSU acted like a bitch by whining that UF was trying to get out of playing entirely, demanding a home game and refusing to do anything remotely in good faith

That is the point. Keeping O screws LSU( long term).

As far as the NY6. That would be nice as long as our players are mostly healthy at that point. Bowl practices are imo bigger than the bowl itself unless we are talking about NY6 bowls.

I think he's the back up if they get burned by Herman and Fisher.

As for the OP, I'm rooting for LSU because I'm beginning to have delusions that we're going to win the Iron Bowl and Tennessee will beat Alabama in the SECCG.

Screw LSU, but what screws them more? Losing or winning and keeping o.

There's an absolute 0% chance that Coach O is retained as head coach.

I wouldn't say zero chance.

You cheer at a shot for NY6 bowl. There's no guarantee a win by LSU ensures they hire O.

All the people bitching on here about the wasted season are idiots. Can someone tell me the last time we got a NY6 bowl? It's had to be close to 10 years.

Does the BCS National Championship Game (twice) count?

Well NY6 wasn't a thing until the playoffs but if you're counting BCS game then 2004 was the last time besides National Championships

I'm not counting NC appearances. Bowl games other than NC. I'n tired of the Music City and Outback bowls when we don't play for a title.

Yeah well we had enough talent to beat TAM, Clemson and Georgia. NY6 would be a nice consolation prize for an 8-4 team but playoffs was the only goal in mind.
