I personally think the DJ idea is stupid but I don't get all the posters calling our speaker system shitty. Either you haven't been to a game in the last 2 years or you are just dumb. They replaced all the speakers 2 years ago and they sound great now. Years ago it sucked when they played rap music because they would distort every time but not now.

Last game attended was Arkansas 2014

Will be there for Georgia Southern so maybe my opinion will change

So instead of a person in the booth picking songs to play, there will be a person sitting in the student section picking the songs

Yay! So excited!

Also I find the DJ at the basketball games pretty damn annoying

Maybe if they fixed the speaker system to not sound like a 1992 Toyota Corolla with subs you'd change your mind
Why? So they will be louder? More annoying?

What ever happened to listening to the band play or doing a good ole Orange/Blue chant or Auburn/Tigers chant?

Nope..we got Lil Wayne and boozie bumping and thumping gettin the crowd "hype" and "bout it bout it"

Please keep raging about minor things folks. Never let your administration do anything you don't like, or you might end up having to be seriously worried about playing in an off-campus MLS stadium.

Kill me. Please.

DJ only really active before the game starts and at halftime. Doesn't do much if anything during the game. They won't diminish the band either

Eta: instead of music being played over the speakers (like they already do) it'll be queued by the DJ

i would be okay with this

I'm for it, I just don't want it take way of the marching band at all.

Agree, so long as the band isn't quieted I don't really care.

The band has already been quieted. It was noticeable the past two seasons when music was played through the PA in between plays. Not to mention the trivia questions and commercial bullshite.

College football is great because of the pageantry and the band. MCFBGA.

TigerPaw1, still think our sound system is shitty after a three year hiatus from the stadium?

I for one like this idea! There are so many different directions that you can take this! If it catches on and gets TV time, eventually famous DJs will come. In turn this means more people will watch Auburn football to see who the DJ will be this game. Kids will want to play in front of their favorite DJ. Translation, it could be good for recruiting!
