So taking out seniors and Lemonier, is the roster of DL posted at rivals correct?

Seems like a lot of potential if our main issue was development under Chizik et al.

Anybody on that list to get excited about?

98 Angelo Blackson DL SO 6-4/308 Bear, DE (Red Lion Christian Academy)
92 Kenneth Carter DT JR 6-4/289 Greenville, AL (Greenville)
52 Justin Delaine DE SO 6-5/253 Linden, AL (Linden)
94 Nosa Eguae DE JR 6-3/268 Mansfield, TX (Summit HS)
95 Dee Ford DE JR 6-2/246 Odenville, AL (St. Clair County HS)
45 Keymiya Harrell DE RS FR 6-4/260 Plantersville, AL (Dallas County)
55 Corey Lemonier DE JR 6-4/246 Hialeah, FL (Hialeah)
91 Tyler Nero DL FR 6-2/277 Atmore, AL (Escambia County)
93 JaBrian Niles DL RS FR 6-2/297 Mobile, AL (Davidson)
10 LaDarius Owens DE SO 6-2/260 Bessemer, AL (Jess Lanier)
42 Gimel President DE FR 6-4/244 Mt. Pleasant, SC (Wando)
13 Craig Sanders DE JR 6-4/257 Clio, AL (Ariton)
96 Devaunte Sigler DL SO 6-4/291 Mobile, AL (B.C. Rain)
74 Jamar Travis DL SR 6-0/302 Brewton, AL (W.S. Neal HS)
99 Brian Walsh DL RS FR 6-3/303 Winter Springs, FL (Winter Springs)
54 Jeffrey Whitaker DT JR 6-4/307 Warner Robins, GA (Warner Robbins)
90 Gabe Wright DL SO 6-3/299 Columbus, GA (Carver)

Well that is what I am looking at. There is a lot on there that should have developed better. Surely the staff, rivals, scouts and other schools were not that bad at talent evaluation.

I am looking to see what raw material there is to develop that was not brought to potential under the old crew.

Nobody on that list has played up to their potential. Or our expectations.

I loved Craig Sanders but he has not done crap on defense

Whitaker showed promise early then faded

Carter - Lutz

Equae - Cant stay healthy but played well, at times

Ford - Could be a beast if healthy

Blackson - Dont know whats up with him.

Wright - Nick Fairley is who

Sigler - Not enough playing time

Owens - beast mode then two games with no big plays.

Although, it doesn't really matter. Another bust 4*.
I look back at him and think, "How in the world did he get a 4 star ranking?!"

He looked like a talentless buffoon on the field.

I did that the past 4 years. They are going to have to earn my trust this time.

I hope they can turn some of those guys into players. There is a lot of unused talent on the team

I guess after losing Liner, who I thought could be really good, and with the questionable state of Lawson's commitment, I am looking for some sunshine in the dark. There is a lot of potential on that list, and I am hoping the buffoonery was on the part of the staff and not the players.

ETA: Makes me wonder about the hire of Pelton. Nothing against him, but he was not a well received hire. Was this, and Loeffler, just a move by Chizik to have no top dogs on the staff so that he could claim whatever success came?

Yea, I was joking with the "TRUST THE STAFF" BS.

I would say the talent on the team hasn't been developed on the field or in the weight room.

btw-Not pointing at Yox for all his knighters.

Delaine is supposed to be good when healthy...but yeah, that list is just one big disappointment.
