Just curious, does anyone know why Ross transferred from AU to the U of Florida after the 1997 season?

Had family issues back home. UF was closer to home

I think we helped facilitate the transfer as well.

Wrong. He only played in that regional because Casey Dunn was hit by a pitch and broke his hand. Dunn was going to be the full time starter the next year so Ross left.

Well I was 4 or 5 at the time so I wouldn't know. The story I heard was family issues though

Just letting you know it was incorrect. We allowed him to transfer to UF because they weren't on our schedule the next year

Why does he claim AU more than UF?

I'm assuming because he spent most of his career in AU and developed a bond with those guys.
