Byron's has a much better breakfast.

Hands down the best fricking breakfast in town. I literally ate there every day before an Ag Business class across the street in Comer. Maybe they'll just move locations because that place generated way too much traffic to just stay closed.

I'll agree to disagree. It was good, but I liked Barbecue House much more.

God no. Over the past 7-8 years or so, Byron's has gone to shite.

Where the frick is "Taste of the Town" going to go? Mike and Ed's?

1. Byron's is the best place in town
2. The property values near downtown have gone totally apeshit. My cousin's kids' daycare shut down last year because of some huge amount of money they got offered.

There's a lot of mad people up in here. Everybody mad

Can someone loan me their pitchfork so I can be mad too?

you young people have no fricking clue.
Harrys, Darvos, the Flush, the copper kettle, hungry hunter, etc. Olden school. Back when the drankin age was 18. That was before we fricked it up for you kids and it changed to 21.
Actually now that I think about it it was 18 in Georgia and 19 in Alabama. I'd have to come home to buy my hard liquor and take it back to Auburn!
Sorry for partying.

Budding little fascists piss me right off.
I'll run to Home Depot (did Auburn allow one of those horrible Home Depot's in town?) and pick up a couple of forks and meet you at Sonic.
Can you get some torches?

For actual BBQ, yes. Mike and Eds has better sides/location, and Price's used to have better breakfast (Byrons didn't serve breakfast back in the day, and Price's is where everyone went).
Overall, sadness from Auburn closings:
t1: Bodega. It even kills me when you people call it "The Bank Vault" or some such shite.
t1: Supper Club. Heart and soul of Auburn ripped out.
3: NIHON

I will miss the camp stew, pork sandwich and the sweet tea. I may head to Auburn tomorrow to eat.

Yeah, that's a fricking joke. The first fricking thing you see when you roll onto campus. Elections have consequences, especially on the local level.

Darvos & Harrys -- been there, tapped that! Great back in the day. Things change= new places emerge

Their BBQ was not very good... the breakfast was solid though.

Can't beat their PB pie. I loved their bbq. I ate it probably 10 times a month in school.

Solid analogy. Alabaster is my hometown. We moved here in 1991. That town is unrecognizable.
