Rewatching the Miss game. When our D is on the field, Lashlee is going to the different offensive groups on the sideline coaching them.

Like seeing that.

The play calling has been so much better since Lashlee was handed the keys. There are still a few 3rd and short wtf calls but overall much better.

I still wish we would learn on 3Rd and mediums we don't have to throw it 20 yards down field.

The most refreshing thing to me is the 2nd down pass after the first down run.

I think if we saw much more run, run, pass, Gus might've needed protection from fans on the sideline.

He's done this since he was hired.. And this is like the absolute minimum requirement for a coach is it not?

Yeah, kinda an odd thing to point out that a coach was coaching

I'm liking the direction we're going and adapting the pace speed to the game situation.

Only thing I wanna ask Gus is if we're ever going to recruit and use a TE. I think its the only thing we're really missing. I know Ingraham is great but Ole Miss looked good doing it in a spread last night. Watching NFL today, heavy TE usage for shorter height and/or under heavy pressure QBs from spread formations. The mismatch of a TE build vs slower college LBs on <10yd routes would be perfect for increasing pace speed.
