No idea. I'm not one of the afore-mentioned 18-22 year old women.

He was a married man that was sleeping with one of the players for over a year. The players knew about it for a long time, and when evidence against the son was found on a cell phone and the situation turned very sour, the son left the program.

Soon after our all-everything catcher transfers out and she only come here from out west because of the coaching staff. Now the head coach retires. It's all related.

Can't say I know anything about that. All I know is that I was told by a player that there was some inappropriate relationships going on between a coach as early as late 2014 so this thing went on for a while.

This could get nasty. Jacobs should be very nervous, right?

this will no doubt blow up. It all seemed very sketchy to begin with and if all that was written in the espn article is true then Auburn may be looking for some new athletic department officials

Which is exactly why nepotism is a bad thing

And that's why I was saying even a year ago before any of this came out and people were talking about how Corey would eventually take over as HC when Clint retired that I thought that was a terrible idea to just hand over the program because of his dad.

I can't think of a single case in the world of sports where nepotism in coaching has worked out well.

When I first started reading the article and saw that the girl that sent the complaint is a freshmen who grew up in Auburn, I thought maybe it's just a walk-on who didn't play and got jealous.... But once I got to the part where Corey was sending sketchy texts to multiple players and slapping players like Fagan on the arse in practice... Corey is a frickboy creep. If Clint had any idea his son was behaving like this with his players, and I don't see how he couldn't have, then I'm glad he's gone too. There's just no excuse for that type of behavior.

Corey has to be touched in the head to think he can get away with fricking one of his players, while being a creep towards half the rest of the team in this day and age. Maybe 20+ years ago you could get away with that stuff, but not in 2017.

I personally don't believe there has ever been a time in history where one man could have a sexual relationship with one girl while harassing or leading on other girls. The hens came home to roost.

I don't think that girl grew up in Auburn. Maybe moved here her senior year of high school. Doesn't really matter, but being cut may have played a role in her reporting it. Doesn't excuse what he did either way.

Fagan and Martin knew about the relationship and were going to come forward about it. Nemeth called the cops on them and got them arrested before they could turn her in about the relations with Myers. It's a huge shite storm internally and externally.
