I 100% agree with this. This is the thing that worries the most about possibly expanding to an 8 team playoff. It will only gives the talking heads more opportunities to make excuses about how Alabama/Ohio St./Oklahoma, etc. lost their games, but still have the most talent in the country and therefor are the "best" team.

If the playoff ever expands it better be set up where the 6 conference winners get automatic bids + 2 at large, or games during the season will lose a lot of meaning and you will see a lot more big names in the playoff.

Sorry for the tangent. The answer is obviously option A.

Option D.

Auburn runs the table and dominates every opponent.

Bama implodes during the season and Auburn wins IB 56-0 (payback for 1948)

AU vs UGA in SECCG; AU 45, UGA 7.

Playoff #1: AU 38, FSU 3. (Payback for 2013)

NC Game: AU 51, USCw 0 (payback for 2003 & 2004)

Plenty to worry about before we even start thinking about UGA or Bama. Let's worry about Clemson first and then LSU. Must win at least one of those two to even be in the conversation.
