Cass cut by Bucs. Frost not even with a team. Goes to show you how weak our LBs were the past few years between them and Jake Holland. I think we know why our D was so awful the past 8 years. Do we even have a true LB in the pros at all right now. Got plenty of DL and DBs and DBs converted to LBs.

Josh Bynes might be the last decent LB we had.

Cass McKinzy was a damn good linebacker for Auburn. A team player, too.

Who cares? They were 4star and 5star. Recruiting ranking matter.

Josh Bynes, Dee Ford and Daren Bates.

By comparison, how many bama L.B.s are in the NFL?

dude gave his heart for us every game. anytime we made a play on defense, which was rare, I would bet it was Cass. Kris never lived up to expectations, clearly.

Don't forget QBs converted to DBs.

Who used to be DBs but were converted to QBs, after they were initially converted from QB to DB.

Cass played well last season. I thank him for that. The only play I recall Frost making is running down Manziel

Cass was such a good pass rusher, hard to believe he couldn't make a team.

He was injured all camp and first game. He stood no chance

Pretty sure Frost ran down Treadwell and broke his leg to secure a win.

and Cass dove on the ball in one of my favorite fumble recoveries ever. Tragic way to win, but the way Cass saw the ball and fully dove to get it was amazing

they were both slow and always out of position.

Never understood how Frost couldn't take the starting spot from Holland, until I watched him play. Then I was like, okay I see why now.
