He's tall. He's fast. He's strong. He's smart. Already 6'1" 190 lbs...

If he continues to progress the way he has this season, he's a future top 10 pick. That's no exaggeration.

Even early when he was getting picked on he seemed to still be in the right place, just wasn't making the play on the ball. Now he's making plays more than not. Every throw he is in the receivers hip pocket, no matter if he catches it or not.

Auburn needs to steal more players from Urban Meyer...especially defensive players. The other transfer, Jamel Dean, is also supposedly turning heads in practice at cornerback as well.

Probably is what accelerated his progress. Good to know he has the mental game down to learn from mistakes not get down on the dumps

Carlton Davis is going to be a STAR lock down corner. He is going to be the next Carlos Rogers. Very pumped about that dude.

I think Carlton is the best freshman db in the SEC. Guys like Minka and Toliver benefit greatly from being surrounded by so many good players. Carlton has done everything on his own with pedestrian safety play and no pass rush.

Don't know much about Tolliver but Minka benefits from being a situational player. He isn't asked to be on an island every down and pretty much plays Nickel mostly

Not impressed with Tolliver and Minkah is only a good nickel back...Carlton has stood tall against the best WRs on each team...

With the exception of the LSU game, I've felt this is some of the best overall play from our secondary in years. I think our defense as a whole is moving in a good direction. I've actually believed at certain times this season we could get a defensive stop.
