STFU. Call him a bust but don't be a little Bitch about it
He shows up to practice, hasn't publicly complained and doesn't seem to be causing locker room trouble

Somebody just needs to tell guys like Byron Cowart the story of Roc Thomas.
Roc transfers to Jax State in June 2016 because he's pissed to be behind Jovon Robinson.
6 weeks later Robinson gets thrown off team. But instead of automatically becoming Auburn's starting TB, Roc is off playing in front of 4,000 fans at Jax State.
In football, patience is often rewarded.

Or the story of Tyler Queen.
Or the story of Woody Barrett.

When you have players pull the stuff that Sean did, repeatedly, and now Cowart wanting a transfer it telss me there is very little team mentality. I consider that a sign of a lack of chemistry. Combine that with the Offensive line not gelling yet and the WR not appearing to be on the same page as our QB. When players get pissed over petty shite like Cowart not being happy with his role. Dont get me started on how soft our O line and WR look.

bama has players, highly rated players, transfer out every year. They have high profile players have off the field issues every year. Would you consider them to have a "lack of chemistry" problem?
pssssttttt you are talking about 18-21 year old kids. They do stupid shite. They get their feelings hurt because they aren't getting the playing time they think they deserve. Every single school deals with this every year.
ETA There is probably a reason such a highly rated kid hasn't been able to crack the starting lineup. I doubt it's that the coaches are picking on him.

If we were hearing this from Davidson, sure. But Cowart came in with a lot of pressure to live up to his ranking and hasn't.

Bama has players transfer sure, But I would bet a bunch of those are told to go. I think the attitude among a bunch of Auburn fans is we dont demand perfection and neither does the AD. We have to many go along to get along people in athletics, instead of doing what it takes to win and pushing limits.

You mean player singular? No one else had issues like this and stayed on the team

The guy is a fricking punchline to our fanbase and gets shite any time he is brought up. The fact that he has waited this long to transfer is quite frankly shocking.
Maybe him waiting two years on the bench and not transferring is an indicator of goods team chemistry. Don't know why the F else he'd stay
Antwan Jackson transferred for the reason you stated if you want a legit argument

Not only that but he's giving us solid depth this year. Kid came here for Muschamp only and stayed the course when Boom left. We're going to have to hit the JUCO DTs hard now because we'll be 1 injury away from playing walkons

quote:I don't care much individually about Cowart leaving, but I worry a bit about the state of the locker room. Could be ordinary attrition and discipline issues (White), but also could be early signs of coaches losing the respect/control of players. Time will tell.
Who cares?

Barnette transfer rule. He can leave now and keep his eligibility more than likely

Brannigan just had a seizure....
The good news is we have Newkirk on board who is a JUCO but will have 3 years of eligibility remaining. Everyone keeps saying we are still in good shape with Coynis Miller. Interested to see if we now try and sign a 3rd DT

Any person with a half a brain would assume the best for Bama Nd the worst for Us look how things have played out over the last 10 years. Thiese are not random events. It is about the culture of the team/ coaches and the AD.
