Got steam-rolled multiple times in last nights Carolina-Baltimore pre-season game.
At the time he was playing, he was playing Baltimore's 3rd stringers.
I'm beginning to suspect he might not have a future in the NFL.

A lot of these position awards end up being career achievement awards unless somebody is far and away the best and deserves it to the point they can't be denied. Ex: Daniel Carlson was probably more deserving of the Groza last year than the guy that did win based on just the 2015 season. But Carlson was a sophomore, so they gave it to the senior with a long solid career.
Just because he can't cut it in the NFL doesn't mean he didn't deserve all his college accolades or make him any less good of a college player. Some of the all-time college greats at every position never translated into the professional level. It happens. How many guys have won the Heisman and weren't worth a damn I'm the NFL?
Dismukes was a 4 year starter and a very very good college center. He deserved both 1st Team All-SEC picks, he deserved to be a consensus 1st team All-American, and he definitely deserved his Rimington.
Yes, he cost is the Texas A&M game with a bone headed mistake. But in 4 years as a starter that's the only mistake I can really remember. It's honestly a shame his legacy is becoming about that one play and an off the field incident at Skybar. Because he had a great career as an Auburn Tiger and we would be damn lucky to have another Dismukes come through at C.

Slightly off topic but that snap against A&M was perfect. Hit Marshall in the hand and hidjknocked his mouth piece out of his hand. I assume it was his fault for snapping early, but sill so much bad luck in that game.

He was a big part of our offensive breakdown against FSU in Pasadena as well. He has the mental game fo play center but falters against bigger and stronger DL.

Yeah it was the timing of the snap. Marshall was looking away and saying something to the receivers. Apparently Dismukes got the snap count wrong or heard something among the crowd noise that he mistook for the signal.
