It's obvious we do not have a QB that can win games. JFIii was a wasted scholly if he cannot throw, SW hasn't got the arm strength of decision making capacity, JJ is a 240 PD ballerina more suited at a DII school ... CGM will not be at AU in December if this slide continues, what does he have to lose at this point?

You think one more QB in the rotation is going to solve our problem? The QB isn't the issue, the issues we have do not wear helmets.

Sean White would win a NC at bama.

I don't care if we put in Tyler Queen, just pick one and stick with him.

Sticking with one QB is a given but it's obvious we haven't got a capable starter in the first three mentioned ..

That's crap IMO

Part of the real problem is the playbook/playcalling.

We run bullshite. What happened to pounding the ball up the middle with our FB leading the way? What happened to quick slants?

Everything we call is bullshite QB read or jet sweep stuff

no.....he should continue his redshirt year because these assclowns coaching the offense would ruin the kid.....keep him on the sideline and hopefully, next season, we'll have a competent coaching staff to teach him

That sounds like a terrible idea. Lord knows Gus doesn't need any more options at QB.

Yeah disagree with this. We could win games with Sean White but Gus refuses to give him a fair shot. White was given the "first opportunity" against Clemson. His opportunity consisted of two runs with our 5'9 WR and a 3rd and 11 pass. After that series Chandler Cox took as many snaps from QB as White did in the first half. Then in the second half he was the one trying to lead our team to a victory.

I just don't know how you come to that conclusion with the play calling we have seen. If Gus would let him throw it on first down, and throw some of the slants and intermediate routes he calls for Johnson, I think we would see he is at least a capable QB. There is no doubt other teams could win White. I put that on Gus refusing to play our best QB and make the best out of what we have.

yep. I believe we could have a winning record with any of the 3 if it werent for our play caller's brain vapor locking come game time.

Gus needs to worry about winning enough to be here next season. He needs to pick one (likely SW) play in such a way that helps the D. Then use JFIII to keep them honest. That might get us 7 wins.

I don't know what any of you are smoking. All 3 of the QB's are terrible and would never start at another SEC school outside of Vandy and KY. Gus didn't forget how to call plays, he just knows he has no QB and it has gotten in his head and made him stupid.

Either way, it's still his fault for A) not recruiting the right QB and B) not being able to develop the ones we do have.

Burn Barrett's redshirt and sink or swim with him, imo.

It's easy to say that now... but if we were to "sink" it would be a disaster.

If he's not ready he's not ready.

Typically I agree you don't want to throw someone in too soon because you have to protect the psyche of these players

BUT

If people are correct and Gus and Rhett can't develop QBs then it might not matter

Bench JJ completely and play White. Use JF3 as a backup.

I think that plan would get us more than 7 but I know it'd have us 1 right now.

I thought that was Rhett's job?

Rhett Lashlee, the highly paid coach who seemingly does nothing.
