He is Bruces age roughly. Hard to see him becoming HC in that situation
Also HC $ makes doing this pointless from a money perspective you'd think. Person seems to think this is long term

That'd be great if he said something like "Look, I didn't even want to hire Chuck in the first place. JJ pretty much forced me to hire him, so this all stems from JJ."

Today is also the 1st day of practice. It would be very telling if a few players didn't show. I'm not sure we are to that point yet but it is something to keep an eye on.

*Bruce Pearl said this afternoon at his pre-practice press conference that his only statement on the Chuck Person situation is the one the university made and the type of conduct that Chuck Person has been accused of is unacceptable.
*Pearl said that everybody on the team is practicing. He said the "kids are excited about it."
*He said there is a possibility that one of the other staffers will be promoted until an assistant coach role, but nothing has been finalized on that front.
*The coach said again today that he believes this team will be a strong one capable of making a run to the NCAA Tournament.

I think the biggest take-aways are that at this time only Person is missing from practice. This is obviously subject to change but given the info we have now it must at least point toward the possibility of everyone coming out of this unscathed and eventually eligible.
On a side note I've been reading a lot of speculation about who the 2 players are. I can't say it with any certainty but the most compelling cases I have seen point toward Spencer and Purifoy. Again I'm not saying that is who it is but that is where I'm leaning towards now with the limited amount of information out.

I am confident that is it is Purifoy and Wiley, wish I wasn't so confident..
I also believe the players/parents are returning the money and will seek reinstatement. My guess is that both will miss some time.
