Brandon King praised by Bill Belichick

I don't have a link to the article but Bill Belichick was giving Brandon King some high praise and his ST coach for finding him.
King is currently the 2nd lead tackler on the Pats special teams. He also forced the fumble Monday night on the Bills punt return that really secured the game for them.
He mentioned how King was faster than all the big guys and bigger than all the small guys. At AUs pro day King ran a 4.4 40 at 6'2 220lbs
King was interviewed about his success on special teams and said he's making the most out of every opportunity he gets.
King is set to make $435,000 for his 1 year contract.
I imagine he'll be picked back up if his great special teams play continues.

He played a good bit last year... he played some DE because our pass rush was garbage. He had a very good game against LSU.

And this is why they constantly win. They find nobodies and turn them into somebodies. Like the kid from Montevallo that made the GW interception in the super bowl.

I never figured out how we recruited a kid who played the Star spot for 2 years in JUCO and was a great athlete yet he couldn't get a starting spot in two years with us when we were warm garbage.
