So let's say worst case we finish 6-6, are we pretty much a lock for B'ham?

What if we beat UGA, what bowls are available to us at 7-5? Belk? Indy? Liberty?

Music City or Gator would be awesome but I don't know, I guess it depends how many get into the "Big 6" or if bowls pick us over say a Miss St or Ole Miss due to ticket sales.

Am I alone in that I would be okay with the Birmingham Bowl? Imagine the savings on travel

No. It could be better. It depends on how many other teams go 6-6 & if we can get all of Bama, UF, & LSU in a playoff bowl, the Sugar, & The Peach. The more teams @ 6-6 the better our chances of getting a better bowl like Belk, Music City, or Gator because of the way we travel.

Could be better than that. The Gator could be in play also. There is a scenario where there could be a handful of teams @ 7-5. With the way we travel AU could be 1 of the first teams taken of that group.

I will be happy with any bowl, except the weed eater.

Birmingham Bowl would work well for me, I'll just go stay with my sister and go to the game. Plus we would get an easier opponent so it should be an easier win for us to help gain some momentum for next year.

MCB would be nice, only because it's right down the road.

Charlotte might be ok.

As a fair weather fan, I'll wait to get a forecast before buying tickets.

Music City, Charlotte or Texas would be solid. Decent venues and better opponents.

I would expect the SEC to pick a closer team to Texas. We did not do our best traveling for the last 2 cotton Bowls we went to.

Not sure who it would be though... ark went last year... MSU, Ole Miss, and LSU will be too good to go there, more than likely.

A&M could end up there, but they've already played a game in Houston vs Arz State.

Selfishly, I'm hoping for Nashville... but wouldn't be surprised if we ended up in Memphis or bham.

Either team could lose out making them 7-5 & end up there.

Read again my friend. The first word in my post is "Either". That doesn't mean both. It means either one of them. lol
