He's on my shitlist at the moment for sarcastically saying on opening day that the Hawks won't make the playoffs, and then a few shows later subtly saying Dwight would have a monster year in our system. Can't get over how much he hates the Hawks, and the man works in Atlanta.

I was 14 when I was wiping Sir Charles, Chuck, Frank Ford, Gerald White, Paul Daniels, Vern Strickland and errybody else's sweat off the floor in the lanes at Beard Eaves. My best friend Philip's mom was an academic advisor in the athletic dept. so I had the connex. Vern used to work out at AHS's gym regularly throughout the year (AHS had some solid 6A final teams in the mid 80's. Chris Brandt ended up at AU, Austin Neville went to Georgia, Bill Neloms went to MTSU), and I was the short, white, slow, 3 point shooting wannabe manager / book keeper for AHS. Fun times. Vern was awesome. The sucky part is that all the sweat bands they gave me after those games of wiping sweat got burnt up when our house got struck by lightening in '85.

I Love Charles, love that Chuck is here, love seeing Bo back all the time. Will Cam be on the sidelines in Tuscaloosa? I sure do hope so.

Super ultra bonus trivia question - anyone know who has kept AU basketball's official books for the past, frick, 30 or so years?
