Teams staking the box against us can open up other things in our offense besides the pass. Namely the speed sweep to GranT and QB read with Mason. If they want to blitz the middle we should be able to hit the edge. We have blocked surprisingly well on the outside even after losing Denson

Teams stacking the box means Slammie outruns everyone very easily.

We should win this one without much of a sweat, but after last weekend I'll have to wait and see how our players look and how conservative the offense is.

As mentioned before, they don't have a ton of horizontal speed across the line. I expect Grant to have his best game of the season

He was talking about how the "box score" doesn't tell the whole story. I mean we were spanking them the first half running up and down the field. Second half, we did the same.

He just doesn't understand our emphasis on redzone defense. That is where we win games but to him, he sees Collins and Williams run between the 20s and assume Arky is the better team

Auburn and Arkansas could play 10 times and I'm not sure they'd win more than once.... We gutted their defense with very vanilla play calling. If we executed better on a couple 3rd downs and get the ball back to our offense (or have the bad PF call on 4th down not get called) it's even bloodier.

Arkansas deserves credit for having a nice offensive game plan... they possess the ball, and Brandon Allen looked the healthier and better than he had since beginning SEC play.

Did they bring up the fact that they had 2 long scoring drives on us all game?

Nobody remembers the fact that thier first TD was set up by a kick off return.

I like how he points out "overall stats" than rambles about UT at home.

Western Kentucky: 52-20, no big deal...
WKU outgained them 393-382.
WKU "shot themselves in the foot" with 7 TOs.
14 of UT's points came off pick 6's. So 38-20.
3 points came off a fumble at WKU's 28 yard line. So 35-20.
7 points came off a fumble at WKUs 12 yard line. So 28-20.
7 points came off a INT at WKUs 22 yard line. So 21-20.
Only 3 of their scoring drives started on the UT side of the field. Yeah, I would say that wasn't exactly an inspiring performance at home.

"Hold on to beat a much improved South Alabama team".......

Wat?
USA has only been D1 for one year and was established in 2009.
Oh yeah, and they're currently 3-5.

What a jackass...

You could tell we weren't passing because Marshall couldn't throw well at that point. First pass to Sammie Coates that wasn't air mailed 10 yards too far. Refuse to believe that it was a coincidence that one of his only throws too short was right after he had injured his shoulder. That would explain the play calling too

Supposedly he is better now and practicing at a high level so I doubt we see Tre up the middle 30 times in a row again
