I was about to post about our soccer team yesterday.

They're having one heck of a season so far. We are ranked top-10 which is the highest the program has ever reached. We knocked off UF which is a traditional women's soccer powerhouse.

Still a football school, just not of the American variety. Seriously, I'm glad to see the team having so much success. I've trained with a few of them, and it was a fun group to be around.

You're training with Auburn's Women Soccer Team?

Just finished watching the replay on SECN. Sad seeing Lutz's sister playing

Not currently, and I never did it regularly. I'm not even in Auburn right now. A few guys from the club team were part of some sort of practice squad with the team. As such, every once in a while (usually during spring), they would mention that a few of the women's team players wanted some extra training, so we'd go play small-sided games and stuff with them. It was never formal with coaches around while I was there, but we did use the official facilities. So yeah, that's my CSB moment for the month.

Ah. Makes sense. My microbiology lab partner was a captain of the club team. Got to play in a few 11v11 scrimmages. They always seem to have some real talents out there. Shame they have to be a club team

On a semi-related sidenote...anyone ever play FootGolf before? (yes, it's a real "sport")

What kind of boots do you wear? I assume cleats are out of the question

Generally just tennis shoes. Sometimes barefoot. You can wear cleats but cleats are made more for cutting than standing still and kicking.

Not played, but I wear indoors as my every day shoes. I'd probably just wear them.

I'm surprised a course would let you wear full cleats. Seems like that'd tear the grounds up pretty bad
