Just a couple of thoughts:
-I love seeing the mix between quick burst reps and heavy lifting.
-The reactionary agility drills are cool technology.
-Seeing that we have a competitive atmosphere in the weight room gets me excited because that means we're getting results and the guys are making each other better.
-Braden Smith...
-Flexibility especially in the hips are a big focus in that video.
-I wouldn't hesitate to say Ryan Russell is at the top of the strength and conditioning coaches around the country.
If I've said it once I've said it a thousand times.. we're going to see a refreshed and highly competitive team this year. I don't know how many games we'll win but we're going to give people hell.

I noticed a few years ago that our players always looked smaller and less physically developed than Alabama/LSU/UGA, well that's not the case now.
Russell has these guys looking like they should.
The agility drills are cool as hell. Much better than the whistle and point method.

Something was going on at the end of Yoxall's time at Auburn because that was never the case under him until the very end.
Now that I've stated this it'll probably turn this thread into a Yox discussion.

When you recruit 5'11 LBs, you are only going to have 220 pound LBs.

Anyone know what F.I.S.T. stands for on the back on the "Count on Me" shirts? I know Count on Me is the team's mantra this year.

And I will state it again. If you have never pushed one of those sleds up and down the turf, you really need to once in your life.
It looks so easy

Article from 2013

The first is the strength and conditioning training by the Tigers under Ryan Russell. With the motto F.I.S.T., which is an abbreviation for fast, intense, strong and tough, the Tigers have been working since last January to be the stronger team at the end of games.
