Thos are good stats for me. Would like the offense to climb higher, hopefully it happens after this weekend.

What site did you pull these from? Would like to view LSU's and other SEC west stats to see how we compare.

Nice post. It does a good job of showing just how high of a bar Malzahn has set when some of us are near full meltdown mode due to our offensive "struggles".

As a member of tMelt I can definitely say we are spoiled on offense.

But it's because our defense has been so porous in years past we know our offense has to be on point to win. Maybe the tide is changing a little this year cause the defense is looking above average for the first time since 2008.

I think 1st in the nation in rushing offense and running at will spoiled everyone so that going to 18th and having to earn every yard has people freaking out.

It concerns me a bit, but I think the freak out is premature

I wonder how many of those 3rd down conversions were passing situations?

36 pass attempts on 3rd down. 18 completions resulted in 1st downs.

50% 3rd down conversion rating when passing the ball.

I admit I am spoiled. I loved running up the middle at will last year. Auburn destroyed the spirit of those teams.

And our starting QB is 97th (not adjusted for drops) in the country in completion percentage. Against one top passing defense in the top 39. (edit. )

Guess which stat will be more crucial going forward

San Jose St is ranked #2 in the nation is pass defense.

LA Tech/KSU are ranked #40.

After we beat LSU(who are #5), we will have 4 wins against Top 40 pass defenses.
