That ball could have been laying flat on the ground and he still should have made it. The whole laces out thing is mental and not about how they affect how the ball comes off your foot. If this game is any indication he's seem the laces plenty of times this year.

He kicked a FG earlier in the game with the laces out...
And got extremely lucky by missing the laces. That's not a reason to excuse the holder and blame the kicker for what happened. Every kicker and holder in the country knows you kick laces away because if you don't get the laces away the ball is going to knuckle

You keep those laces away and the Vikings are in the divisional round

Dude... the ball came off his foot straight left... it was a pull all the way. Maybe the laces not being out threw him off, who knows.

Doesn't even matter anymore. We have Seattle net and they match up pretty well against us. We fricked.

Cam Newton matches up well against everyone. Panthers = Super Bowl Champs

My team has the Chiefs but if we can't win it all (and I don't think we will) then I'm all on the Camwagon.

Th two teams are very similar... Run the ball well and play good defense. Should be a close game

When he has to kick the damn laces because the holder can't do his job then that's what you get

Laces had nothing to do with it. If the laces were out, he still pulls the ball wide.

Cam looking good on the first drive.

Cap fumbled but luckily Panthers recovered. Hopefully Cap will have a chance to redeem himself.

Tale of two halves. Why does Rivera and Shula always try to run the clock out from the third quarter?

Cam just said they went conservative. That's the old NFL coach in Ron.
