The Tigers are expected to hire Missouri secondary coach Greg Brown soon, according to a source close to Brown at Missouri. Brown has alerted staff members at Missouri. It’s not yet known when an announcement will be made by Auburn. An Auburn spokesperson did not immediately return Auburn Undercover's requests for confirmation.

Brown coached Missouri’s cornerbacks last season, and before that coached at Louisville for two seasons and at Alabama in 2013 as Nick Saban’s secondary coach. Brown will make it five separate former assistants under Alabama coach Nick Saban to be hired by Gus Malzahn at Auburn.

Impressive track record. No ties to Auburn. Seems like the type of hire those around here would be excited about.

Seems to not stay places long. Was in the NFL for a good amount of time. Was at Colorado a couple times, once as DC. Alabama, Louisville, Arizona, Missouri, Chargers, Buccs, Saints, Falcons.

He's been pretty much everywhere

No idea. Link is just to his Wikipedia page showing where he's been.

Kind of a concern that he seems to move around so much.

Thanks for your concern.

No reason to blow a huge payout when this whole staff hinges on this year

Love when people on here complain about contracts before they see the contract

Love when the same people that bitched about the McGriff hire are the ones that bitch when he leaves

Pretty meh hire imo. Didn't really expect much to be honest though. Gus has it on cruise control and collecting them checks.
