I'm gonna be up all night studying for a test tomorrow, so this is kinda nice for me to have something to keep me awake and from going brain-dead. As someone who likes soccer, I definitely don't mind it. Didn't see many games this year due to my own soccer schedule.

Make sure you watch that basketball game. AU got up to #1 and was a 1 seed in the tourney too. Chris Porter was the most electric player in college basketball. Also remember the names Mamadou N'Diaye and Doc Robinson.
Hopefully this is a taste of what Pearl can bring back to our basketball program.

Oh, I will. I'll probably be up all night. Yay...

Mamadou N'Diaye looks like a college Dikembe Mutombo out there swatting balls.
I wish I had been old enough to really enjoy that 99 team. The last time we made the NCAA tournament in 03 I was in 6th grade

I can never see "You don't know Bo" enough. Just incredible. He became an All-Star in 2 of the highest tier leagues in America basically as a freaking hobby. Whatever. I just don't even know what you do with that.

It still hurts me how much that '03 team underachieved. I often think about how much better, if only on paper, the 04 team could have been if Dansby and Thomas had another year.

Was one of the most frustrating things to watch. 2014 kinda reminded me of 03 in alot of ways

It was 2003 that I learned not to take it as serious as I had been.

I think this year compares better than last year in terms of talent and experience going into the season. But I have a lot more faith in this coaching staff to hold the team together.
Last season a lot of our issues stemmed from personnel on defense, and that should be greatly improved this season. 2003 the issues were almost all coaching.
But if last year was 03, then I'd be okay with this team being like 04.

Wished 04 had a playoff....no one will ever convince me that we would have lost any game

I agree we would've beat USC and or Oklahoma

The turf for the national championship game against Oregon was totally unacceptable. Thank goodness Chris Davis injury wasn't life threatening
