1999 Auburn Ole Miss basketball is the highlight of the entire program for me

Looking forward to watching 2006 UF game

There's too many women's sports going on there

I wonder if Bruce had a hand in scheduling that 1999 Ole Miss game so the fans can see what potential the program has...at least that's what I like to think happened.

WOOOO LETs DO IT
King Dunlap and Ben Grubbs, that a strong left side
Whoever was talking about this 2006 UF game in another thread the other day and said we had no offensive star power and Cox was throwing to Rod Smith and Prechae Rodriguez? Yeah you forgot about Kenny Irons and Courtney Taylor. Brad Lester and Carl Stewart were no slouches either.
I'm actually kind of glad they programmed in the women's soccer and softball in between the real stuff so I can take naps.

That 06 D was STOUT too. I miss that about Tubby. Brings back such good memories.
Quentin Groves, Sen'Derrick Marks and "The Stump" Josh Thompson on DL
Stacked Corners. Jonathan Wilhite, David Irons, Pat Lee, Walt McFadden, Jerraurd Powers, Tristan Davis. Then you get Eric Brock and pre-injury Aairon Savage.
LB you got Will Herring, Karibi Dede and the ultimate for AU fans.. "The Little Ball of Hate" Tray Blackmon. God he was so good, I wish he could have put it all together or stayed out of trouble just once. To this day the most talented LB I've seen at AU (even more than the 03 crew IMO) and best 5'11" LB ever born. I had such high hopes for him and as a young teen I never felt such disappointment in a football player before.

Pat Sims and Marks were dominate inside

I loved watching "The Stump" more than any of them though. Pure effort, that guy.
Q. Groves dominated the pass rush in 06 as well, he's definitely an all time favorite for me.

Tubby's "small but fast" LBs were helpless against Tebow. I bet they would have matched up well against JFF though.

Boom! There it is. Tristan Davis and Jerraurd Powers block the punt and Trey Smith runs it in for the TD!
I had forgotten what a huge and timely sack that Q.Groves had the play before that.

But was he as good as the legendary 5'11" DT from one of the local high schools? I heard stories but never got to see the guy play

After that fumble, Meyer looks dead inside. Love it.
For the record, I have never seen this game, but I HATE this Florida team. Vandy got fricked on the worst "excessive celebration" penalty ever against them in the swamp.

"The Stump" Josh Thompson was about 5'11" and a good DT.
The best HS player I ever saw was a 5'6" 150 pound nose guard from Plainview HS. I heard he taught Nick Fairley how to have swag.
Speaking of Tray Blackmon him and Q.Groves were huge this game. I had forgotten this, but the announcers were talking about how this was his first game playing at AU. 5* and top LB out of LaGrange HS, redshirted and then suspended 6 games for underage drinking. Didn't play until halfway through his second year and then steps on the field against the #2 team and eventual NC and is immediately the most impactful defensive player out there. He had so much potential, it kills me to remember

Hahaha that's great. I can't imagine how that would have felt in real time to go from the missed FG to picking off a pass on the very next play.
ETA: The end of this game

Eric Brock had some huge moments in his career. I would have killed for a safety like him the last several years for AU.
Great ending to this game too
Sorry to still be on Tray Blackmon's nuts, but I don't know if anybody realizes how much 14 yr old BowlJackson fapped to this recruiting profile LINK
ETA:
Thank God for this women's soccer game so I can take a nap before they play the 1999 basketball game at 3:30
