Pitching a shutout over 90 plays is nothing to scoff at even if it's Vandy's offense.

That was my first thought upon reading about the scrimmage at 247. Then my inner negabarner came out and thought "wtf is wrong with Gus' offense?"

Well, Jeremy's offense apparently went 30 plays with only 5 being passes. So, take what you will of that.

During the fist half of last years Arkansas game With Nick Marshall and the threat of the qb run on the bench Auburn could not run the ball.

We also didn't really try to run the ball. The gameplan was to pass, and when your QB has like only two incompletions, you keep going with the hot hand.
We will be fine. Defense probably had more sleeves on for this scrimmage anyways.

Early scrimmages you want the D ahead. The offense will do better in the next scrimmage.

The Aubietron was probably to distracting for the OL. Next scrimmage defense has to face it, so should see better offense
