Never had a favorite pro team in any sport, except for the Big Red Machine. (even though I couldn't stand Pete Rose, even back then)
In the NFL, I always pull for the underdogs. I am tired of the Patriots/Steelers/Giants and I have never liked SF, Oakland, and Dallas. I always pull for guys from Auburn though.

Goes like this...grew up a Cowboys fan until we got a team in Jacksonville in 1995, always liked the way the Ravens played, and huge on Cam. Now I can't stand watching the Cowboys...

Redskins/Cardinals I grew up liking and I root for all Auburn players but the only teams I like they play for is Lions/Panthers because they perennially suck and I don't feel like I am jumping on the bandwagon

Cowboys, but hate Jerry Jones.
I've switched over to Falcons because it is closest team.

#1 is any player from Auburn/Iowa/UAB/Troy/Northern Iowa/ and school in Alabama that isn't Bama.
#2 I like the Panthers and Niners. That could completely change in 5 years though.

Cowboy for life (jerry jones is the scum of the earth). Pulled for them for over 50 years. Started when I pulled for them over Bama Bart Starr and the Packers.
Then I pull for Auburn players, so Carolina.
