Supposed to rain Friday night hopefully it doesn't though.

A win vs. Samford would be nice. They beat us this past time and IIRC both times last year also.

How nice would a sweep of Arky be to get back to .500 in SEC play! Is Keegan starting Saturday again?

Not sure we have the pitching depth to sweep anyone although it would be nice. I think we will see Keegan on Friday this week. MSU threw their best on Saturday I believe so I think it was a match up thing for us. Rain would definitely not be good for us with our lack of depth in the pen.

Insider notes per AUC

-program’s struggles continue to puzzle lots of knowledgeable people
-based on the current roster there is concern the future could look worse than the present
-Arkys coach Dave Van Horn said privately he feels AU has the third best players in the West, behind only LSU and Texas A&M
-last weekend’s series loss to what is unquestionably Van Horn’s weakest Arky team was very damaging

That carries a lot of weight in the coaching community too. Van Horn has been around the block.

Golloway has to go. I've flipped my stance over the last couple of weeks. It's time.

I wouldn't mind waiting this season out but if it isn't competitive we need to start looking at out options

I wouldn't put it past JJ to do something stupid. He made Clemson essentially a permanent opponent for us

Hopefully we can pull game 3 out of our arse from LSU.

Foxhall was a fantastic recruiter. Not sure we have a decent one on our staff anymore. This bunch of sophmores could really make some noise next year, kinda like the 2010 bunch did. We don't have any impact freshman, and that is extremely rare for college baseball.

Met Anfernee Grier's aunt yesterday. She is awesome and you could tell he has some solid support around him.

She said his mom is absolutely entrenched on the idea that he needs to finish his degree. While it isn't "decided, if his mom has her way, he is getting his education.

Both his parents have college degrees (Faulkner&Auburn) and emphasize the importance of being collgee educated.
