I have

Stayed at friends apartments when I did go for games in school.

Not going. Will never go back down there unless I had a free ticket and I was in town back home in Mandy/NO.

Be prepared for some major harassment. Even from trash girls.

That drive to Fayetteville

I've booked at the Drury Innright off of 110. Good reviews and seems close to everything. Anyone stayed there?

I go every year and always have a good time. There are some cheap hotels in and around BR, just don't stay on Airline Dr., its a demilitarized zone. I've been going forever, and have only had a couple of problems with LSU fans, nothing major.

I flew in 2013 and I'll most likely fly this year I'm driving it on the weekend of April 24 to see some friends and then back up the weekend of May 8 for graduation. Gonna be a terrible drive and I'm not prepared at all

Don't know to be honest,. You could ask that question on the rant and some LSU people would tell you. If we win, I'll buy you a beer at The Chimes...5 if we lose.

My brother is an LSU grad so the Tiger Bowl is our annual sibling game. He gets the tickets in BR and I get them here on the Plains. Great atmosphere for a game especially at night. Yes be prepared to get harassed even by cute (an uncute) sorority girls. And I mean running up to you, in your face chanting "tiger meat" kinda harassed and Im 6'4 270. I just laughed and thought it was cool. I also had several LSU fans just stop and chat. I've always enjoyed my time in BR.

I will say that if there is a louder stadium in America, I dont want to step foot in it. My first trip there in 2008, I thought my ears would bleed it was so loud. Even in the 4th quarter when they had kicked the crap out of us and the stadium wasn't as full. Hopefully you will have a good experience.

XNA is a great airport. I flew ATL-CLT-XNA last time on short notice and had an easy trip

BR is not a really great area. The campus is nice but the town sucks.

This is easily mine and my wife's favorite away game. We've been a few times and have never been let down. Last time we were there we tailgated with the LSU vet school people and and everywhere we walked we were offered cajun cooking. Very few jackass fans IME.

We've stayed at several places - last was the fairfield inn on the eastern side of town off the interstate. It was fine - nothing bad or worrisome about the area but nothing special.

The popular areas to eat I think all do pretty well. There was one dive that we were taken to by a bunch of LSU vet students called Brightside that was surprisingly fun and had good food.

Definitely do not agree with this. It can be loud but I'm not ready to talk about bleeding ears and other whiney stuff.

Go to LSU for sure. It's the best tailgating scene in the college football. Have some thick skin and you'll have a blast. I haven't missed an Auburn game there since the early 90's.

My family's company always has a huge tailgate with a band, open bar, and a bunch of homemade gumbo, jambalaya, etouffee, etc . I would love for some AU board regulars to come. It's mostly LSU fans, but everyone gets shite faced and has a blast.
