In.

I don't care if it's too early. This board is dead this morning.

This thread can also serve as recs for food, entertainment, etc. for those heading to Atlanta who don't know the area.

Restaurant and Bar Suggestions
Fox Brothers BBQ - LINK
Some of the best, if not best, BBQ in Atlanta. Lines can get long so plan accordingly
Home Grown - LINK
Southern. Great breakfast spot. Get the Comfy Chicken Biscuit. That's what they're known for. The best sausage gravy I've ever had. The lines can get long here too, so get there early.
Claremont Lounge - LINK
If you want a great dive bar, head there and meet Blondie.
Stats - LINK
Cool sports bar that is downtown close to the Dome. Good food.
Hudson Grille - LINK
Another sports bar, but food isn't as good as Stats. Nothing to write home about, but it's close to the Dome.
JCT Kitchen - LINK
Fancier style southern food. This is more a reservation type place.

If you like craft beer, there are a ton of great breweries. If you want to try several in one fell swoop head over to Decatur. There are 3 great ones in a mile radius:
Wild Heaven - LINK
One of the owners is an AU grad and friend of mine.
Three Taverns - LINK
BlueTarp Brewing - LINK

Driving over Friday afternoon and staying until Monday. Tickets in the AU student section which are typically in the end zone on the lower level

Looks like the AU Tigers vs the Louisville Tardinals. That is the stupidest helmet design I have ever seen. Including some of the dumbassery that Maryland and Oregon pull out of their arses.

Game is in ATL, but the Mrs has no interest to go to this one. Will watch it from the fiddy yard line of my leather couch and 60 inch HDTV.

Poors...

I'll be watching from my 80 inch curved tv on my yacht, while 3 super models serve me sandwiches and pleasure me with commercial break blowies.

So is anyone planning on watching from Apple TV? I read something about Apple TV supporting CBS live games now... Anyone have more info on this?

ETA: just kidding, they don't have live streaming.

I was offered free tickets but declined because, well Atlanta is more trouble than its worth.

Instead I'll be watching on TV while distilling vodka here in Bham.

Checkin in, Club Level row 4 around 50 yard line. I wonder how sloppy this game will be.
