Both Alabama and Auburn are double-digit favorites in high-profile 2015 football season-openers, according to early lines released this week at 5dimes.

The sportsbook has Alabama installed as a 13-point favorite over Wisconsin at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, on Sept. 5, while Auburn is a 10-point favorite over Louisville in Atlanta on the same date.

10 seems too high.... 4-6 makes more sense, given both teams will be young and auburn breaking in a new defensive coaching staff.

I wouldn't bet on either of those lines.

Ehhh, seems too high for my taste.

It's a Bobby Petrino lead team with a bunch of highly talented transfer able to play (Shaq Wiggins, Josh Harvey-Clemons, Jaquay Williams and Devonte Fields). I know they also replace a lot but I expect a battle.

I've said it in other threads, but this might as well be considered a home game for the good guys.

I wonder how many of the allotted 35,000 tickets Louisville will sell because you better believe whatever they return will be bought by AU fans.

Plus, we know Petrino wasn't very good in the Georgia dome

The only sure bet is that, in the event both underdog teams beat the spread, Arky fans on tRant will claim both as moral victories.
