Thanks, my dad was asking and I couldn't remember. I was so pumped with the team I wasn't paying attention to it

I think Lang will end up being a grad transfer after this year. With Okeke coming in and potentially another grad transfer there wont be a ton of minutes for him

That's kind of the message I got from that too.

How did I not notice Lang missing?

Purifoy kind of is Lang rignt now. Tall, 3 point shooter who doesn't do much else.

Purifoy is starting to figure things out on defense, especially against more athletic stretch 4 types.

With his bum angle he is just meh though

Even when Purifoy isn't scoring he can be a great support player, just as he was in the win over UConn.

This is what I mean. He isn't as dynamic a player until he's back to 100%.

Took the family out to dinner tonight, and the place had the game on. Some gump came to my table, with my wife and kids there, to say row tahd and tell me to get ready for another L.

This is in VA, btw. Can't escape the bastards.

That's ridiculous. That fanbase is 90% trash

More gumps were at your table tonight than were in Auburn Arena. That was a pathetic showing by their fans.

Usually they show up in decent number for basketball games so that's unusual. I'll do my best to be in Tuscaloosa when we play in a couple weeks

I was honestly surprised by the lack of Bama fans. They have had a good start to SEC play, thought more would be interested

I seriously saw about 6 or 7. That's probably the least amount I've ever seen.

So one gripe I have is just how bad our students are at bball cheering. The turnout has been fantastic but they clearly don't get it

While I'd love to get an Arizona State curtain of distraction level of crazy, I can settle for them just knowing when/how to do basic basketball chants

Also next years team 1/2 projections

1- Harper/Mitchell
2- Brown/Lang/Okeke
3- Heron/Okeke
4-Purifoy/McElmore/Murray
5-Wiley/Spencer or McElmore/Murray

I don't know what our plan is with Murray, he is built like Barkley though, a short tank w a post game. Got to imagine he is a post player

While we all talked about getting another big man, seems like we have a log jam at the position. I'm hoping we can bring in a GT shooting guard instead

I want to see how a Harper, Heron, Purifoy, Spencer and Wiley lineup does for a few minutes.

It's just going to take time for us to develop that kind of collective knowledge. People have to be attending games consistently from the beginning of the season, and we haven't had that yet. Next season we may start to see it develop more.

Okeke is a 4 in our system. He is basically a Purifoy clone but not quite as athletic.

We have room for 2 more. I'd like to see us fill both slots. 1 with a wing and the other with a interior player

I definitely see this but it means we have a logjam at the 4/5 next year.

Unless someone transfers out, I don't see why we would take another big man. W Okeke at the 4 we are a solid 3 deep at both positions
