Moore is our #1 priority right now and we definitely have a good shot at him.
Moore did an interview with Rivals a few weeks ago & did not have us in his top group. LINK

Other than Florida, which schools are heaviest in the mix with Moore? “Georgia, Georgia Tech, Oklahoma, Ohio State and Maryland,” he said.

Ya.... that isn't a legit top group for Moore. He publicly stated he doesn't have "public leaders" or top group while he is visiting places, which he still is doing.

I've seen these visit interviews in person, you never know A) what the question actually was and B) If he just threw out schools recently interested

Shouldn't be surprising that UGA/OU/tOSU/UM are all some of the more recent coaches visits/UOV/Offer

Well whatever it is JLee bought into it & feels we don't have a good shot anymore...Sooo that must mean we lead big.

I am not saying we have a good shot, but JLee/Local rivals UF person isn't the guy to know about that at this point

We just need Under Armour to figure their shite out and start funneling bagman payments to his UA sponsored AAU team. They need to carry their weight

How can we expect them to carry their weight when they are bleeding on a national level. Google Under Amour. It's not pretty right now.

Im saying UA needs to get their AAU bagman delivery system in place for Auburn to make the payments

I'm no AAU expert, but from my understanding we use Under Armour as a conduit to funnel payments to AAU teams/recruits under the guise of sponsorship

Under Armour really just does their best to restrict/limit access to their AAU teams for non affiliated teams. They don't do all that much in terms pushing kids

Edit: Failure of having a good system like this is what made Barbee recruiting blow. His success was based on this sketchy shite

Puifoy and Okeke are 4s in Bruce's system.

Purifoy and Okeke are both natural SFs(3). Purifoy plays the 4 because of our roster and having our best players on the floor. Lang has played the 4 some this year but you can't call him a 4. If Murray could've played this year, Purifoy would've played a lot less 4 and Lang none at all. Okeke could play the 4 at times because he's a better option at 4 than Purifoy or Lang.

I also believe if Murray would've been able to play, we would've been in the big dance this year.

Also, isn't Murray more of a 5 than a 4?

Murray is a natural 4, a quick-twitched post player. There are interviews he has done, where Murray has said that BP has him mostly at 4 and sometimes at 3. He has been working a lot on his outside shooting, trying to expand his game.

As far as 2017 goes unless we add the Euro kid I think we will be going the grad transfer route again so we won't hear any names until season's start ending

Now that it looks like the 2017 class is complete, do you think we need a GT? With only playing so many in a rotation, this rotation seems to be deep and loaded.

PG- Harper/Mitchell
SG- Heron/Brown/
SF- Purifoy/Okeke/Lang
PF- Murray/McLemore
C- Wiley/Spencer

Really excited about next year and beyond. If we could somehow get Montgomery on the Wiley plan, adding him to this lineup mid-season would be absolutely sick.

As far as the 2018 class goes, our board looks something like this. I'm thinking we'll be signing 3-4.

1. EJ Montgomery(PF)-solid commit.
2. Khavon Moore(SF)-top prospect, will narrow things down in the summer. Has visited us and UGA the most.
3. Jojo Toppin(SF)-we seem to be a major contender. AU/UT/UGA battle.
4. Will Richardson(SG)-HS teammate of Davion Mitchell. AU/UGA battle so far.
5. Trey Jemison(PF)-Loves AU but we might not offer enough immediate PT for him. Auburn or Vandy, it seems for now.
6. Sharone Wright Jr(PG)-sister plays on AU girls bball team, just like EJ Montgomery's sister. Will be a tough pull but we are in contact.
7. Diante Wood(SG)-could be our next commit.
8. Trey Doomes(SG)-we seem to be in contact.
9. Tony Johnson(PG)-very high on us and visited us more than anyone but we may not have room. Might look elsewhere.
10. Javian Fleming (C)-recruitment hasn't taken off yet but it will and we're in on him early. He's still open.

Edit: Just my opinion but my ideal class would be Montgomery, Moore and Richardson, then call it a class. Toppin if we don't get Moore, and Wood if we don't get Richardson, maybe Jemison if we have room. Sharone Wright Jr would be great but we don't need another PG.

We are doing a solid job recruiting the D1 Circuit, most notably the Georgia Stars who plays in the Nike EBL and Peach invitationals.

No doubt, even though it's hard to argue with the success we've had despite the connections. EJ Montgomery and Jojo Toppin play for the Atlanta Celtics. I'm pretty sure Will Richardson will play for the Georgia Stars.

It's absolutely amazing that we're pulling in guys like EJ Montgomery.

I counted Wiley as a fluke, in a sense, being in state and a legacy. But Montgomery is a whole other level that I never thought AU basketball would get to

Not too many people here know who you're talking about. And why do you say he could he be our next commit?

It helped that his sister is Brandy Montgomery, who is on our ladies team. Justice Wright, who is sitting out this season after transferring from Clemson, is the sister of Sharone Wright Jr.
