Brooks is announcing tomorrow morning at 9am. He just visited UNC this past weekend so if he got a commitable offer that is where I would expect him to wind up.

I just don't see Brooks coming to Auburn. He never seemed too interested in AU the entire process

Also, a UNC insider CB'd Brooks to UNC yesterday along with a 247 Nat'l guy.

I think if we miss on Brooks and Obiagu we will go the grad transfer route for a big and save the scholarship for 2018.

Obiagu is a spring decision right?

We also have Dreshawn Murray eligible next year. While short, he looked like Tyler Davis huge body guy in the post during scrimmages.

FWIW a few weeks ago JLee said he did not think we would take Obiagu regardless of what Brooks decides. No idea if that is true, and probably wont be able to find the exact post but thought I would pass it along.

That would be news to me. I've heard we would take either.

That's a surprise. Knew he wanted out of Auburn but I don't see going to Starkville an upgrade, even if his dad is there

That's surprising to me. I thought UGA would have been his fall back choice. Got to hand it to Howland. He sure can recruit.

I dont think Howland is some excellent coach, but I always viewed his decline more due to lethargy.

Not excited about the prospect of MSU having even a halfway decent program

According to 24/7, we've gotten NLIs from all of our commits

How did they pull that off? Did U.K. Slow play him?

I think they'll jump ahead in 247 rankings with him.

It's okay to see them get some top notch recruits too. This competition will be favorable overall.

I would have preferred for us to be established as the instate power program first though
